If you want, for example, the operation of an air-to-water heat pump to be correct, it is necessary to ensure that there is an adequate flow rate and an adequate amount of hot water to enable regular evaporator defrosting processes. For this purpose, small-capacity buffer tanks, so-called heat buffers, are used. The reservoirs can be made of stainless steel or black steel and do not require an internal spiral coil.

The W4B 40 Weber buffer tank should be mounted vertically. It is equipped with a hanger, which facilitates its simple installation on the wall. It should be placed in a room where the temperature does not fall below 0°C.
