Solar installation for heating utility water or e.g. pool water, requires support by a pump that will force the liquid to circulate in the system. A special solar pump group known on the Polish market of the WILO brand is used to power such installations. The devices are mounted on the section between the solar collector and the tank in which the water is stored.

One-way or two-way solar pump group?

The solar pump group can have a one-way or two-way construction. It usually consists of a Wilo pump, rotameter, air separator and connection elements. The assortment includes solar pump groups designed for use in tandem with flat and vacuum solar collectors. Individual models differ in performance, so they can be precisely selected for installations with a certain number of collectors. For example: the WILO GPS 120 PWM solar pump group can support up to 30 solar panels. However, the ST 60 double circulation pump model only works with four collectors.

The solar pump groups offered are made of durable materials that guarantee their reliability. Foam insulation provides protection against heat loss.
