Corrosion can cause a serious threat to the durability and efficiency of heating systems.  It leads to a gradual deterioration of the materials from which the system components are made, which in turn leads to a significant reduction in system efficiency or even failure. A key protective factor against corrosion will be the use of appropriate operating fluids such as antifreeze, including flushing fluids, and corrosion inhibitors.

Corrosion inhibitors are substances that are added to antifreeze fluids to prevent corrosion. Their action is to form a protective layer on the surface of the metal or by slowing down the chemical reactions that cause corrosion.

The dedicated AQUACORR organic inhibitor OAT series (1l concentrate) is ideal for central heating systems, heat pumps, refrigeration or process heat installations. The use of the inhibitor effectively protects metals such as silicon-aluminium alloy, aluminium, galvanic, copper, brass, steel, binder, cast iron and any artificial materials present in the installation against corrosion. The presented 1-litre concentrate of organic corrosion inhibitor can be mixed with other agents.
