RELEVANT INFORMATION

DEFRO Firewood with a capacity of 24 kW is a modern, highly efficient central heating boiler for firewood, called a gasifying boiler, which meets the restrictive 5th class standards and is Ecodesign certified. The basic fuel for the presented model is firewood with a moisture content of 15 - 20%. The wood gasification process makes it possible to fully utilize the energy stored in the fuel, as well as to meet restrictive emission parameters. Burning in gasification boilers allows to minimize dust and soot formation.

Firewood boilers can be used in gravity and pump central heating and hot water systems. The design of DEFRO Firewood 24 kW boiler with manual fuel loading, is designed to heat water in the central heating system to a temperature at the boiler outlet not exceeding 90% and an operating pressure not exceeding 1.5 bar. The boiler can be used for both open and closed heating system installations. The condition for operation in a closed system of the boiler is the use of thermal protection.

DEFRO's 24 kW Firewood series wood gasification boiler is a fully environmentally friendly device with low emissions. The construction of the boiler is conditioned on the multi-passage design of the flue gas ducts. The heat exchanger is made of certified high-grade steel. The combustion chamber is equipped with a removable, cast iron bar grate and a steel baffle, which allows for free and proper stacking and firing of wood. An additional vertical grate included in the boiler's equipment prevents glowing fuel from falling out when the door is opened. The layout of the charging and hearth doors allows convenient access for cleaning the charging, hearth and ash chamber. The large dimensions of the loading chamber and the loading door allow convenient use of the device. In addition, a peephole is placed above the dampers to control the combustion process with the possibility to observe the flame.
