RELEVANT INFORMATION

The 19 kW DEFRO Optima HG is a modern, highly efficient central heating boiler for firewood, known as a gasifying boiler, which meets the restrictive 5th class standards and is Ecodesign certified. The basic fuel for the presented model is firewood with a moisture content of 20%. The design of the DEFRO Optima HG 19 kW boiler allows for two-stage wood combustion using the principle of fuel gasification and subsequent combustion of the resulting gases (so-called pyrolysis). The wood gasification process makes it possible to fully utilize the energy stored in the fuel, as well as to meet restrictive emission parameters. Burning in gasification boilers allows to minimize dust and soot formation.

The OPTIMA HG wood gasifying boiler by DEFRO with a capacity of 19 kW is a fully environmentally friendly device with low emissions. The boiler's exchanger is made of certified, high-quality boiler plate of 6-8 mm thickness. The upper chamber of the boiler serves as a fuel tank, while the lower chamber combines the function of a combustion chamber and an ash pan. A grate is placed between the chambers for optimal wood gasification and easy ash removal. Lower combustion gives the device optimal conditions for heating the house. The height of the boiler can be adjusted by adjusting the leveling feet* within an adjustment range of 38-50 mm (available for purchase as an accessory).

The DEFRO Optima HG wood gasification boiler, with a power output of 19 kW, is equipped with an innovative, user-adjustable controller with a touchscreen display, thanks to which the entire combustion process of the device is carried out in a simple and uncomplicated manner. The exhaust fan used in the product protects the device from the backflow of smoke into the boiler room, eliminating the problem of improper chimney draft. The device also has a system of mechanical self-cleaning of the heat exchanger, making it much easier to operate the stove. Modern solutions, used in Optima HG models, ensure safe and comfortable boiler operation.
