Made of high-quality INOX stainless steel, the IBO diaphragm hydrophore tank with a horizontal orientation and a capacity of 80 liters is designed to create a hydrophore set with a surface or submersible pump (with parameters corresponding to the parameters of the tank). The diaphragm vessel is a durable and solid tank with stable legs with holes (also made of stainless steel), thanks to which the tank can be screwed to the pump or the ground. Separate mounting is possible, it is not required that the pump be mounted on the tank.

The 80-liter tank made of thick acid-resistant sheet metal (INOX stainless steel) is an efficient tank intended for storing clean water for food or industrial purposes. Inside the vessel there is an EPDM rubber diaphragm (membrane) in which water is stored. Compressed air is located between the housing and the tank membrane, which releases the water from the tank under pressure. The task of the membrane is to separate the water from the steel, protecting it from contamination and allowing it to be used for food purposes. Water does not have direct contact with the walls of the tank, which has a positive effect on its service life and resistance to corrosion. The big advantage of the presented model is the INOX stainless steel used in the tank. The tank made of stainless steel INOX can be exposed to water and can be installed in difficult and unfavorable conditions, in wells or in damp places without fear of its corrosion, where in the case of ordinary tanks it could rust and damage the tank. The factory tank is inflated with air at a pressure of 1.7 - 2 bar.

The use of the IBO diaphragm tank in the hydrophore set stabilizes the water pressure and increases the active volume of the water supply system. The reservoir has a special valve (the same as in the case of car wheels) that helps to inflate or deflate the container. The use of accumulators in hydrophore sets makes it possible to limit the number of pump starts in a given period, which translates into the life of the entire installation.

The advantage of a diaphragm tank compared to using a traditional tank without a diaphragm is its much larger usable capacity. Thanks to the diaphragm, the water is in direct contact only with it, thus protecting the tank against corrosion and extending its life. The EPDM rubber diaphragm also eliminates the need for frequent refilling of air in the tank. A great advantage is also the use of a membrane made of rubber, approved for food purposes.

The diaphragm tank will be used to build a hydrophore set and it can work fully automatically (in conjunction with a surface or submersible pump, taking into account the parameters of the tank). In combination with a diaphragm tank, we will supply water from our own intakes to single-family and multi-family houses, farms, allotment gardens, summer houses, workshops and enterprises. The tank will also work well for watering the garden and supplying water to ponds.

The diaphragm tank is a significant element of the hydrophore system. The equipment will prove itself in water supply systems by supplying drinking and utility water as well as in irrigation systems. It should be remembered that in the winter the water from the tank should be drained or the tank should be completely removed.
