The IBO diaphragm hydrophore tank in horizontal orientation and capacity of 150 liters is designed to work with most surface and submersible single-phase or three-phase pumps (with parameters corresponding to the parameters of the tank). It is a durable and solid vessel with stable legs with holes, thanks to which the tank can be screwed to the pump or the ground. Its light weight allows for easy transport if necessary. In the hydrophore set, it can operate fully automatically. The choice of tank capacity should be matched to the purpose of the pump.

The 150-liter tank for storing clean water is made of high-quality, thick carbon steel covered with a special varnish to protect against corrosion. Inside the vessel there is an EPDM rubber diaphragm (membrane) in which water is stored. The membrane has a number of advantages, the main one being an increase in the useful capacity of the tank compared to a traditional tank. It is also resistant to wear and aging processes. Compressed air is placed between the housing and the tank membrane, which releases water from the tank under pressure. The water does not come into direct contact with the water jacket and the air cushion. Such a solution, where the liquid does not have direct contact with the walls of the tank, has a positive effect on its service life and resistance to corrosion. The use of the IBO diaphragm tank stabilizes the water pressure and increases the active volume of the water supply system.

The reservoir uses a special valve that helps to inflate or deflate the container (located in the rear part of the tank, under the lid), a valve identical to the one in car wheels. The use of tanks in hydrophore sets makes it possible to limit the number of pump starts in a given period, which translates into the life of the entire installation. The value of the factory filled pressurized air tank is 1.7 bar. The pressure level can be controlled with an air compressor or a car pump.

A larger tank with a capacity of 150 L gives the pump the ability to run fewer starts, which, compared to smaller tanks, adds to a longer life of the equipment. It is used as a clean water storage vessel in hydrophore sets and is a key element of the hydrophore system.

The hydrophore set in combination with the diaphragm tank will be used to supply single and multi-family houses, farms and enterprises with water from our own intakes. The tank with a small capacity of 24 liters will work in small gardens or plots for watering the ground and plants. We will also use the vessel in summer houses and in home workshops.
