RELEVANT INFORMATION

PSOLAR KEYMARK certified to take advantage of subsidy programmes!

The Weber Sol SR30 vacuum-tube (Heat Pipe) solar collector with mounting kit for installation on flat surfaces such as a flat roof, terrace or ground; will successfully provide a source of domestic hot water for many years. Remember that the effectiveness of the vacuum tube collectors depends on their proper inclination, which is in the range of 15°-50°. An inclination other than that specified may result in a significant reduction in efficiency and, in some cases, even lead to complete immobilisation of the system!

The SR30 solar collector presented is delivered in several cartons. This is a standard solution for this type of equipment due to its large size. Such a solution guarantees quick and easy transport to the target installation site without the need for specialised equipment. Each vacuum tube is easy to dismantle, so in the event of a possible breakage of the tube, it is possible to replace it easily without having to empty the entire system of solar fluid.

Our shop offers the SR30 vacuum solar collector complete with a mounting kit for a flat roof. If you wish to install the collector on a sloping roof, please select the same device in another cheaper auction with the note "sloping roof".

One Weber Sol SR30 collector is designed to heat 200 liters of water per day. The larger the capacity of the water tank, the lower the temperature of the heated water. If you use smaller amounts of hot water, select the appropriate number of this type of collectors or choose the SR22 model.

The manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on components that do not wear out naturally during operation. The collector meets the conditions for subsidies as it is SOLAR KEYMARK-certified.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE SR30 COLLECTOR

The sun's rays fall on the collector's glass tubes, which are coated with a layer of titanium and quartz. This layer converts the radiation into heat, which is transferred via special exchangers to the "heat pipes" (this is the copper element inside the glass tube). After just a short while and at a slight temperature, the liquid in the 'heat pipe' begins to evaporate. This is because there is a vacuum in the heat pipe. The vapour rises upwards to the heat exchanger head (condenser), where it gives off heat via the collector bus and condenses. It flows down the 'heat pipe' again to repeat the whole process. The liquid glycol mixture flowing through the collector is not in direct contact with the heat pipe, but receives heat from the condenser of the 'heat pipe' via a special exchanger. In this way, the heat is transferred to the mixture circulating between the solar collector, resulting in the gradual heating of the domestic water.

WHAT SETS OUR COLLECTOR APART FROM THE COMPETITION?

As the heat pipes are filled with an insignificant amount of water, it often happens that under the influence of minus temperatures and lack of solar radiation, the water can freeze, causing the heat pipe to leak and thus reduce the collector's efficiency. Given our decades of experience in solar technology, we have developed a technical solution that largely eliminates this problem. In our equipment, we use a special protection for the heat pipe at the point where leakage most frequently occurs. As a result, the WEBER SOL SR30 vacuum tube solar collector is not damaged, as is the case with typical solutions offered on the market.
