IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Recuperation is a mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery from exhaust air. The use of such a ventilation system provides the user with the expected comfort through an adequate amount of air in the house without allergens, excess carbon dioxide, water vapor, dust and particles, even very fine ones, thanks to the use of filters that effectively clean the air.

The WEBER REQ AV-TTW5-W electric wall-mounted air recuperator with a telescopic tube with a maximum length of 475 mm, complete with remote control and W-Fi is a ventilation device for indoor installation, provides the exchange of used air saturated with carbon dioxide for fresh air drawn from outside the building while heating it. This small device can be installed in houses, apartments, cottages and public buildings, hotels, cafes, small stores and other such facilities.

Wall recuperators are a modern solution to ensure proper air exchange. Their task is to bring in fresh air from outside while exhausting used air from the premises with simultaneous recovery of heat energy. A mechanical ventilation system that allows the recovery of heat from the ventilation air becomes an element of a healthy and warm home while saving energy at the same time.

The compact recuperator with energy class A comes with a small remote control (without batteries), which allows us to control the unit easily and conveniently. The remote control has three available operating modes and the ability to select three gears with the setting of higher, medium or lower fan speed. It is also possible to switch the device into fan boost mode (boost speed). The fan then runs at maximum power for 30 minutes if no other settings are enabled. The unit also has a standard CO2 sensor or an optional humidity sensor. The availability and selection of operating modes and unit speeds are also available on a panel on the side of the fan.

  • Supply mode (the unit supplies outside air for the appropriate amount of time, then begins to operate in heat recovery recuperation mode).
  • Regeneration mode (the unit runs for two cycles of 75 seconds each to ensure heat and moisture regeneration).
  • Exhaust mode (the unit removes air for the appropriate amount of time, then begins to operate in heat recovery recuperation mode.

The AV-TTW5-W is an innovative unit of elegant design with simple and convenient mounting. The back of the main unit is equipped with a strong magnet that will automatically attract the mounting plate to the wall. The presented accessory also has a built-in Wi-Fi module, which is a great advantage of the product. We can control the device from anywhere using a smartphone, thanks to the available app. The free application allows you to operate several recuperators and combine them into a single ventilation system. With the help of a convenient application we can create an efficient ventilation system, where the entire ventilation system is controlled by one master recuperator.




WORKING PRINCIPLE


 Each cycle is 75 seconds, the device works in two cycles.

I cycle

Warm, polluted and stale air is removed from the room, flowing through a ceramic heat exchanger. The ceramic regenerator transfers heat, absorbing moisture. After 75 seconds from the start of heating, the ventilator switches to supply mode.


II cycle

Fresh, cool outside air flows through the heating unit and heat exchanger. The heat previously accumulated in the exchanger humidifies and warms the exchanged air. The regenerator and heating device absorbs the accumulated moisture and heat, making the supply air flow at room temperature.

After 75 seconds, the fan switches back to exhaust mode and the cycle repeats.
