The Sonniger GUARD 150C cold air curtain (without heater) with a maximum airflow of 3700 m³/h and a length of 1,5 m provides a strong air stream, allowing to create an effective barrier also against the entry of dust and other fine dirt. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE COLD AIR CURTAIN

Cold air curtains, as well as warm air curtains (water or electric), by blowing air, create a special barrier whose task is to cut off air exchange between two spaces with opposite temperatures.

In summary, any air curtain you choose will help avoid uncontrolled air exchange, eliminate drafts and protect against contaminants. A cold air curtain to separate two air zones will be the most economical choice, because as a unit without a heat exchanger, it will minimize energy costs.

The indoor air drawn in by the fan is blown at high speed into the room, creating a protective barrier. The appropriate speed of the discharged air creates an effective barrier to the outside air.
