GENERAL INFORMATION

High-quality solar set with a hot water tank. with a capacity of 300 liters and 2 WEBER SOL ECO 2.85 solar collectors included.

The adopted collector area ensures efficient water heating at a level of approximately 50% of the annual demand. The remaining 50% (winter period) should be provided by using a central heating boiler connected to the upper coil of the tank or by means of an electric heater.

Installation fluid

The solar fluid is produced on the basis of propylene glycol, which means that it is completely safe for health in case of possible release into drinking water. The liquid has a hygienic certificate of the National Institute of Hygiene, which is an additional guarantee of a high level of safety. The liquid is supplied in a 10-liter container as a concentrate with a freezing point lower than -64 °C. After dilution with water, you get up to 30 liters of ready-to-use mixture, which is quite enough for typical installations.

Expansion vessel (expansion tank), solar, 18 l.

Contrary to appearances, the expansion vessel is one of the most important elements of a solar installation. Selecting a vessel with too low an operating temperature or too low an acceptable pressure may cause frequent problems with use.

The maximum operating temperature of the expansion vessel included in the set is 120 °C, and the permissible operating pressure is as much as 10 bar, which guarantees high operational stability of the entire system.

Set of connectors

The set is equipped with a system of brass compression fittings enabling efficient and secure connection of collectors and pipes.

The set includes:

  • 2 x Compression fittings for connecting two adjacent collectors
  • 2 x Clamping plugs for plugging two diagonal collector connections
  • 1 x Clamping elbow with a ¾” GZ connection enabling efficient connection with corrugated stainless steel conduits
  • 1 x cross-clamp connector with a ¾” GZ connection enabling efficient connection with corrugated stainless steel cables

NOTES: In order to completely install the solar kit, you must obtain, among others, a collector assembly kit, pipes and installation fittings necessary to connect the tank to the existing installation. The installation kit is not included as standard due to the need to adapt it to the type of covering and roof slope. You can buy all these products in our online store.
