Self-assembly balcony photovoltaic installation by WEBER PV with a microinverter, PV panels and Smart Plug Wi-Fi sockets.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Nowadays, we can use photovoltaics while living in a block of flats or multi-family buildings. If we own an apartment, we are not deprived of the opportunity to invest in our own photovoltaic system. If we have a balcony, great! Because there we can install a photovoltaic set that will produce energy for our use. We don't have a balcony - no worries, we can install photovoltaic panels in the common part of the building. The presented WEBER PV balcony photovoltaic installation with a power of 800 W allows you to enjoy self-installation of photovoltaics without much experience. We will use the obtained green energy only for our own needs, i.e. to power all electrical devices in our home.

The offered WEBER PV self-assembly balcony photovoltaic kit with a power of 800 W includes: 2 high-quality black photovoltaic panels with a total power of 800 W, an advanced microinverter and Smart Plug intelligent sockets. The set also includes additional cables enabling convenient installation of the entire photovoltaic installation (3-meter extension cable and MC4 flat cable). The entire set allows for simple and safe installation, without interfering with the balustrade structure and without interfering with the existing electrical installation, because the installation is connected via a typical electrical socket.

The microinverter with the cables to connect it is the heart of the entire balcony photovoltaic installation. It allows you to connect photovoltaic panels with a power of up to 800 W. This small device, with low weight and dimensions, can be placed at a maximum distance of 10 meters from the installed photovoltaic panels. The device can be installed inside or outside the building. The microinverter includes cables such as: a two-line cable with a socket to connect directly to the microinverter and to connect to solar panels (each line supports 400 W) and a power cable. The task of the device is to transform direct current into alternating current, which we use in our network, by directly connecting the power cord to a 230 V socket.

The Smart Plug intelligent socket is compatible with the microinverter and connects to it via the home WI-FI network. The socket is placed in a typical home electrical socket, and then devices that draw electricity from the network, e.g. a refrigerator, are connected to it. The Smart Plug socket measures the current electricity consumption of the device connected to it and informs the microinverter about the amount of electrical power that can be fed to the network, and that no more energy will be delivered to the home network than is currently consumed, so we are sure that we will not give away unused energy. energy to the external network. The set includes 2 Smart Plug sockets.

Additional complete wiring included in the presented set increases the comfort and speed of installation. The 3-meter long MC4 photovoltaic panel extension cable allows you to place solar modules in an optimal location for light absorption, providing greater flexibility in their placement. The MC4 flat cable makes it easy to connect wires from photovoltaic panels to the inverter installed in the apartment without having to drill holes in balcony doors or windows, simplifying the entire installation. Simply run the cable through the door or window gaps. The aim of our products is to facilitate the use of electricity wherever its consumption may be difficult.

HOW DOES PHOTOVOLTAICS ON A BALCONY WORK?

Solar energy converted by photovoltaic panels mounted on a balcony or other building element is sent in the form of direct current to the microinverter. The microinverter converts direct current into usable alternating current, which is then fed into the building's electrical grid through a typical socket. Thanks to intelligent Smart plugs and Wi-Fi, only the amount of energy that is currently consumed by home devices is fed into the network. Nothing goes into the external electrical grid.

Due to limited space, we usually install photovoltaic panels on the balcony railing. Ultimately, two panels should fit on the balcony railing next to each other. An important issue is the exposure to sunlight on our balcony in a block of flats. The optimal direction is the south one, where we can generate the most light. An appropriate change in orientation may reduce the installation's power, but this does not disqualify the use of our installation.

WEBER PV BALCONY PHOTOVOLTAIC KIT INCLUDES:

  • 2 modern PV panels in a black frame made in the HALF CUT system (2 x 400 W) with cables
  • Extension cable for photovoltaic panels (3 m long)
  • MC4 flat cable through doors and windows
  • Microinverter
  • Smart Plug Smart Socket (2 pcs)
