RELEVANT INFORMATION
The 15 kW DEFRO EKO SLIM is a wood pellet central heating boiler with feeder, which, thanks to its modern design, allows for very high thermal efficiency while maintaining compact dimensions. It also meets the highest Class 5 standards and is Ecodesign certified. Its great advantage is also its high thermal efficiency, which is as high as 93%. The heat exchanger is integrated with the fuel tank.
The DEFRO EKO SLIM boiler is equipped with a modern touchscreen controller with a colour display APC3 ADAPTIVE CONTROL. The pellet burner has an igniter and an automatic self-cleaning system. In turn, the flue gas ducts in the form of pipes with swirlers, economisers, go directly to the flue, increasing the efficiency of the boiler. Thanks to the use of automatic fuel ignition and a system of maintaining the fire after reaching a pre-set temperature, it ensures high comfort of use; the appliance can operate even with a minimum heat demand.
In addition, thick, highly effective thermal insulation made of asbestos-free mineral wool has been placed between the steel plates of the outer and inner shells to reduce heat loss from the boiler. The pump controller is fitted with special sensors to control the temperature, fuel feeder and fan operation. The cooker has a temperature limiter, cutting off power to the fan and feeder motor if the boiler water temperature rises above 95°C. In addition, the appliance has a replacement wheel outlet water thermometer.
The recommended area that the 15 kW EKO SLIM pellet boiler is capable of heating is a maximum of 220 m². Certification allows subsidies of up to 70%.
