RELEVANT INFORMATION

The proposed Kaisai (KHA + KMK) 10 kW (three-phase) air split heat pump is the new generation of the Arctic line, which is characterised by its ability to operate over a very wide range of outdoor temperatures (-25~35°C).

With its compact design, independent indoor unit and flexible installation, the Kaisai Arctic (KHA-10RY3-B + KMK-100RY3) 10 kW split heat pump will be an ideal choice for homeowners, shops, offices and commercial premises. Easy access is provided to all hydraulic components. The refrigeration connection between the outdoor and indoor units, as assured by the manufacturer, is freeze-proof even during prolonged power outages. In contrast, an additional refrigerant charge is only required if the length of the refrigerant lines exceeds 15 m.

All hydraulic components in the outdoor unit, such as circulating pump, diaphragm vessel, safety and vent valve, flow sensor, pressure gauge, flow heater are fitted as standard.

In addition to being able to connect up to 16 units, thanks to the Modbus protocol on the Arctic series, it also allows up to six units to be connected in a cascade system. In addition, the pump is equipped with a USB port, enabling software and settings to be continuously updated. The new ComfortHome Wi-Fi app, available for tablet or phone, allows remote control of flow and hot water temperatures, zone switching and monitoring of electricity consumption. In addition, the Kaisai Arctic series split heat pump (KHA-10RY1-B + KMK-100RY3) has been awarded KEYMARK certification, which confirms the high standard of the product and compliance with European standards.

LOW OPERATING COSTS

• The solutions used make a major contribution to reducing the running costs of the house. The cost of heating the building or domestic water using a heat pump can drop by up to four times. HEATING AND DRYING THE FLOOR

• A drying mode and a pre-heating mode prevent the floor from warping or cracking. In newly built facilities, this mode works well immediately after the floor has been poured, when a large amount of water remains on the floor.
  
  

HOT WATER TANK DISINFECTION FUNCTION

• By heating the water in the system to 70°C, the high temperature kills most bacteria (including Legionella).
  
  

CORROSIVE FIN COATING

• By using louvres, which are made of aluminium and additionally coated with a hydrophilic coating, the weather resistance of the exchangers has been significantly increased; the units have a longer service life and a lower susceptibility to corrosion.
  
  

WORK OVERVIEW

• The operation preview function allows the basic operating parameters of the heat pump to be viewed in real time, allowing the user to react quickly if an error occurs. Four operating modes are available: cooling, heating, DHW and auto. Three modes can be connected to meet different user requirements.
  
  

HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY

• The heat pumps are equipped with energy-efficient inverter compressors that allow infinite regulation of the heating output. This increases the efficiency of the entire system and reduces the operating costs of the pump. Kaisai Arctic heat pumps have a COP of up to 5.20. The higher the COP, the more heat can be generated using the same amount of electricity.
  
  

POWER LIMITATION FUNCTION

• 6 user-selectable levels depending on the maximum permissible operating current. All that is required is to change the setting on the wired controller. This allows the units to be adapted to a wider range of applications.
  
  

ENERGY CONSUMPTION MONITOR

• With this function, the user can analyse the energy consumption of the heat pump at different time intervals and optimise its settings to save even more on heating costs.
  
  

MODERN TECHNOLOGIES

• INVERTER COMPRESSOR - the technology in Kaisai units reduces power consumption, which results in lower cooling and space heating costs. Its use translates into quiet operation of the unit and faster achievement of the desired temperature.
• Thanks to the use of robust and pressure-resistant materials, the compressor in the Kaisai heat pumps is extremely reliable. In addition, it has a high-performance motor with a wide voltage range, so it can operate in extreme conditions in 24-hour mode and reach temperatures of up to 65°C (voltage range 172 to 265V 50Hz).
