The WEBER HP heat pump for domestic hot water with a built-in 300 liter tank is an intelligent heating system for heating domestic hot water, which will be used inside the heated room. Hot water heat pump is a very popular purchase with many customers and is often a replacement for an existing electric boiler. The purchase of a heat pump, compared to a traditional electric utility water heater, ensures high comfort of use, with much lower heating costs. These are the most popular heat pumps that are found in more and more Polish homes.

The air-to-water heat pump, thanks to its construction, is an independent device that directly heats domestic hot water. Inside the device, in a compact housing, there is an integrated hot water tank. with a capacity of 300 liters, which allows for high comfort of preparing hot water for a large family. In its upper part there is a heat pump. It is a small part, constituting about 1/4 of the whole equipment. By using a heat pump, we ensure high comfort while drawing hot water, at very low heating costs. The Weber HP 300 model consumes only 535 W of electricity during its operation. The costs of heating 300 liters of water to 45°C are not high. These operating costs are several times lower than the popular heat sources, such as an electric boiler. By using a heat pump, we ensure low costs of heating domestic hot water, which mainly uses renewable energy, which is air. Air, which is an inexhaustible source of energy, allows you to produce hot water practically all year round. The production of hot water can take place even for 90% of the days during the year.

The steel tank is covered with a layer of ceramic enamel, which, together with the additional protection applied, i.e. a magnesium anode placed inside the tank, protects the device against corrosion. The magnesium anode is a very important element of the water heater, protecting the tank from rust inside the tank. The 2 kW electric heater built into the heater serves to increase the heating efficiency in the event of an increased demand for hot water. The electric heater also serves as an emergency source of heat. Storage of hot water in the tank enables comfortable use of hot water, with the possibility of reducing the electrical power of the device to a minimum.

The presented product, using mainly renewable energy, which is air, ensures extremely low costs of heating domestic hot water. The merit of the heat pump's economical operation is also the high energy efficiency class of the device A+. The benefit of purchasing the presented accessory is the possibility of obtaining funding for a new device, which is usually conditioned on the efficiency of the devices. A great advantage of the device is also a functional, automatic control panel that allows you to easily adjust the temperature of hot water, located on the front of the device. The controller offers convenient and intuitive operation of the device by controlling the selected button on the display. We can use selected, available three main operating modes: automatic, economic and fast, which can be switched using the MODE button depending on the user's preferences.

In AUTO mode, the heat pump and optional electric heater operate. The heater will turn on only when the device is unable to achieve the required parameters (when the air temperature is too low or when the water temperature is too high). In ECO mode, only the heat pump is in operation. When using the FAST mode, both the pump and the heater operate under all conditions. Using the controller, we can select the temperature up to max. 70°C. In this way, we can decide on the direction of comfort and operating costs, because depending on the selected operating mode, the electric heater can be turned on or permanently turned off.

The controller also regulates the domestic hot water temperature associated with periodic heating. The TIME function (daily or weekly) allows you to adjust the device to the user's needs. The electronic control panel also has an extremely useful function, which is the HOLIDAY mode, which allows you to use this function in the event of our prolonged absence. The heat pump also has a STERILIZATION function - automatic or manual, thanks to which, under the influence of high temperature, we fight bacteria present in the collected water of the tank.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE WEBER HP CWU 300 HEAT PUMP

The air-to-water heat pump will be installed inside the building. Installation of the device requires connections: hydraulic and electrical, as well as supplying air ducts. It is also required to drain the condensate, which is formed as a result of the water condensation process. The lower source from which the heat is to be taken is the air, and the upper source to which the heat will be transferred is the water in the domestic hot water system. Air for the heat pump can be drawn in from the environment, from the room where the unit is located, if this place is adequately ventilated. A more productive solution is to install a heat pump through the use of ducted systems. In both cases, the heat pump uses the heat contained in the outdoor air to produce domestic hot water via a compressor system and a domestic water tank.
