The UNI2 model controls an installation containing two central heating circuits with mixing valves (e.g. radiators and underfloor heating), a DHW tank charging circuit and DHW circulation.

When the heating season is over, the system automatically starts the pump for 30 seconds every two weeks. Note that the controller must be left on for the system to operate after the season. A very important advantage of the UNI2 model is the ability to control mixing valves.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION OF THE EUROSTER UNI2 CONTROLLER

The Euroster UNI2 controller controls two central heating circuits and two mixers with the possibility of connecting hot water and hot water circulation. The most important parameter in heating systems is the temperature, which must be appropriately high (but not too high) to maintain thermal comfort in the rooms. Too high a temperature in the heating system will cause the safety valve to open and the water to leak. Measuring the temperature of the heating water at several points through CO2 circuit temperature sensors adequately controls the attached kit, as well as the heating boiler itself.

The task of the electronic controller of heating circuits, is to improve the operation of the heating system of the installation, by controlling the temperature of the central heating system. In the boiler (the heart of the heating system), the temperature of the water increases, which makes the pump turn on and start working. Proper control of the C.O. pump (the so-called circulation pump), which is an important element in the central heating system and a significant component of the entire heating system. The general mechanism of C.O. is the same for different heating equipment.  The pump will operate until the temperature in the system drops below this designated temperature. The controller for the central heating pump allows you to measure the temperature of the heating medium from the boiler and start the pump when the temperature is reached. This means that the controller can start and stop the pump so that it operates within a certain temperature range. The pump makes water circulate between the boiler and radiators or other heat-transfer elements (such as underfloor heating).
