The DUO combination tank presented here, also known as the heating tower, is a product of the KHT- GROUP THP series, is a storage tank with a modern two-in-one solution. Structurally, the DUO tank consists of two parts: a buffer tank at the bottom and a domestic water heater at the top. The tank is designed to be combined with a heat pump, which can optimally manage the production of domestic hot water and guarantee an adequate supply of boiler water.

The compact design of the combination tank ensures convenient connection and positioning. It also saves a lot of space in the boiler room. The use of this tank in a heating system guarantees a high level of comfort for heating, domestic hot water production, which contributes to a significant reduction in investment costs. In the THP tank series, heating of water for domestic hot water is provided by a flow heat exchanger (coil) made of AISI316L stainless steel corrugated pipe.

WHAT IS A COMBINATION BIN?

The combination tank or so-called exchanger is an advanced product for storing thermal energy. Such a product is mainly used in heating systems and its main purpose is to efficiently store heat from different sources, such as solid fuel boilers, heat pumps, solar collectors or other heating systems. A combination tank, as we described earlier, is a combination of a buffer tank and a DHW tank.

A combined heat exchanger, is designed to store a supply of domestic hot water, as well as accumulating energy and distributing it to the heating system. Combined tanks are widely appreciated for their versatility and efficiency, allowing the integration and optimum use of various sources of thermal energy, which in turn translates into savings and considerable comfort in the use of heating systems.


The product warranty period is 60 months from the date of purchase by the end user. To maintain the warranty, the manufacturer requires, among other things:

• Replacement of the magnesium anode (size: 6/4 inch) every 12 months
